Powerful and Intense
This non-fiction memoir is written in the hopes of reaching and uplifting its audience. You will learn how Honey Kasper survived every type of abuse and her journey of self-discovery.
An insightful, honest and inspirational tale of a battle survivor beautifully told which makes you think and relevant to today’s mindless living. It takes us on an emotional roller-coaster ride through her fears and struggles and how she eventually came out triumphant. You will feel scared about the cruelties one has to face in life which have an effect on the mindset of the people and also depicts the true meaning of loss and pain. It could happen to anyone in real life.
Loved the Poems and the list of song titles representing the author’s life at the end of the book.

Unpredictable: The walk in and out of darkness by Honey Casper is a heartrending account of the author’s personal story of trauma, adversity, perseverance, courage, and strength, and how she got back her missing years and built a life surrounded by people with a positive outlook and her faith in God. She looks at the difficult times in her life in a positive manner and considers it to be God’s plan to get her where he wanted her to be. She presents her inspirational story through this book, from the time she was born, her family, her childhood experiences, adulthood, trauma, PTSD, and finally her faith in God.

Unpredictable by Honey Casper gives hope to readers out there who are from dysfunctional families and the author’s fortitude and faith will inspire readers to deal with their problems in a positive way. Honey Casper is honest and straightforward when it comes to speaking about her life and her personal experiences and it is painful to read the trauma and abuse she had to go through. Her story gives hope and her courage, strength, perseverance, and faith in God when it came to dealing with the setbacks and finally putting her life back on track are inspiring and will help every reader out there, dealing with personal struggles, to enjoy the small things in life, appreciate them, and be grateful. What makes the memoir memorable is the way the author turned the tables and brought positivity into her life and got back her power instead of wallowing in self-pity.

We know that reading allows us to live another’s life, and what a gift is when someone can turn their pain into power. This is what Honey Kasper has done by telling her story. As we follow her journey as she grows up, the harmful moments she has to endure grow as well. It reminded me how fortunate I was in life to have a stable home and loving parents and how much we don’t know the battles others around us face, who endure this but manage to function. I found myself in disbelief of what she was subjected to, and sometimes it was difficult to experience with her, but I wanted to be along for the journey as she overcame such trauma. The storytelling is sometimes fragmented, but that form reflects what life was like for her and reflects the PTSD she suffered as a result of her traumatic experiences. Her ability to, often barely, survive, yet find contentment comes from subtle details and circumstances in her life; they are moments she, even when a little girl, can focus on when there is a lot of dysfunction surrounding her. Just as she emphasizes about the small things life, there are so many little details that are so special. The joy she finds in those little details and fond memories of simple everyday moments with her grandmother really juxtapose the not so happy stuff that was going on in her life. It shows how she found such delight despite the circumstances of her life not always being the most pleasant. The challenges she faces are frequent and will have you wondering how a poor child could or should be subjected to such things. This contrasts the lack of details about her mother, which repeatedly reaffirms her mother’s absence from her life and absence from the role of mother. Her story was very compelling, and shows what fortitude and faith she had to survive and thrive after all that, and not just survive but dedicate her life to helping others, when after all she’s been through, might compel someone to seek relief and finally be able to focus solely on their own well being. It is truly inspiring!

**Honey Kasper is a wife, mother, and writer. She has written a autobiography detailing her struggles growing up. The abuse she had suffered knows no bounds. This is not just another memoir, it is her story that she chose to share. It is an engaging story of perseverance and courage. Look for the under lining message of hope.** Highly Recommended.

I’m not much of a reader unless you grab my attention. You have definitely caught me. There is so much in this book that I personally can relate to. You have definitely inspired me to write my own story. You have shown me it’s ok to let people go to save your own sanity. May God continue to bless you. Wonderful story, thanks so much for sharing.❤️

I read this book in one day! I couldn’t put it down! I recommended this to my daughter! I gave it 5 stars because I kept me interested. And the fact that it’s a true story made it all the better. I am saddened that all this happened to these children but so glad life turned out good for her!
